Kingfisher Conference Centre was proudly launched in October 2001. It is privately
owned by Gary Hilliar and managed by Caren Van Der Spuy. During construction only
the highest quality building materials were used and are evident throughout the
building. Caren then headed the task of set-up, furnishings and staff recruitment.
It was agreed upon conception that only top of the range products would be selected
emphasizing the concepts of practicality, comfort, design and quality. Conference
furniture was imported from America and is the same product used at Sandton Convention
Centre. Conference tables fold and are on wheels which ensure the quickest turn
around times. Chairs are designed to seat you comfortably for 8 hours. The boardroom
furniture was commissioned and made locally and the overall result is one of “A
Touch of Elegance”. The latest conferencing software ensures every detail is taken
care of from your initial enquiry to the success of your meeting or event. Natural

It was decided in 2003 that accommodation was needed to compliment and adjoin the
conference centre. Plans were put into overdrive and Kingfisher Lodge was built
in just over a year. The same standards were adhered to, with its design ideal for
the corporate traveler. A truly memorable executive sanctuary and golfer's paradise.
Luxury accommodation, boasting 20 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, all with
